HOUSE BRILL + LE ROUX

The stylish double story home has a traditional cottage architectural feel and consists of two larger main structures with clip-on elements in face brick surrounding the volumes and linking them together.

Hardwood floors and high whitewashed ceilings with exposed beams give the interiors warmth and character, and a neutral colour palette creates a sense of peace and serenity.

The entrance foyer has a beautiful timber staircase with detailed steel balustrade to give visitors a sense of arrival when entering the space.

At the heart of the house is a spacious living area with a striking klompie brick fireplace and mantel piece as a focal point in the space. The kitchen was designed to be a living room in its own right and a small lounge area and fireplace, gives the room an elegant and sophisticated presence in the house.

The lounge opens onto a large patio with outdoor dining and braai, overlooking a formalized garden and scenic views in the distance.
